Tudor Court on Hatherley Crescent was originally built in 1987 with 52 flats. Between 1987 and 1988, an additional 12 flats were added, bringing the total to 62 one and two-bedroom apartments, and a further 2 three bed properties. What truly makes Tudor Court a great place to live for someone over 55 is the empowering sense of community and resident control. There is Car Parking available, on first come first served basis. Residents with a car need to obtain a Parking Permit that must be displayed at all times. A visitors Permit is available and can be used for a maximum of 4 hours. The Car Park is monitored and fines will be issued for any unauthorised vehicles parked therein.
Resident-led management for a personalised experience
Originally, First Port managed the property, but in 2019, residents officially took control and established Tudor Court (Sidcup) RTM Co Ltd, formally appointing their active own Managing Agent in October 2020. This shift from an external provider to a dedicated, self-managing group run by leaseholders means residents are actively involved and have a say in all aspects of property maintenance and operation. Building a freindly environment
Many of our Residents are on their own and look forward to meeting up for a chat and a cuppa. Life can be very lonely and we encourage people to join in with any social events organised. Not many weeks go by without something going on. Weekly Coffee Morning, Keep Fit Saturday Morning, Monthly Bingo Night, Various Quizzies and other Games Nights. We celebrate certain dates throughout the year finishing with our Christmas Party.
